let the suspension work begin

with the 3.2 swap and aa stuff my engine is about where i want it to be for the time being.. so it's time to start on the suspension. i plan to do springs/shocks, sways, and a brace for starters. i already have an x brace.

i guess the first thing i'd like to know is what are the advantages/disadvantages to coilover vs. traditional springs and shock upgrades... seems like all everyone talks about is coilover suspension on here.

i cant really say anything about the coilover process but when its all done drop a few pictures

i'm not doing anything for a few months, i'm still in the planning stages, but i believe i've got my Q2 bonus already spent on it

Coilovers:
Adv. - adjustable height
Disadv. - $$$...

Shocks/Springs:
Adv. - significantly cheaper than coils
Disadv. - Set height

There are performance differences, often times coilovers provide greater body control and higher spring rates than you can get in a spring/shock combo.

If you have the money get coilovers.
