Its the grey wire on the parking light. if the wire isnt long enough just grab some more and splice it on. "wrong forum" ? apparently you are not aware what the purpose of this forum is. Also try to remember that the style in europe is totally different then the US. look through any issue of PBMW to see that. Last edited by Stealth : 06-01-2003 at 04:01 PM.

Stealth - good man! and I think you mean splice - just so that our 'friend' isn't comfused. The way to splice the wire is to get some more of the same guage and just use connectors to "tap the two together" - Radio Shack here in the US is the best way to find stuff like this: ![]()

thanks for replaying....well you guys are right about that European style differs from US. It thought it was kind of odd that I got so many bad replies on these things. Neon can look pretty if done the right way with moderation. Small details like putting neon inside your speakers for example..it's cool.. I will try to past some pics of my car soon, it's pretty different from much of the very traditional bmw stling in US. Well is there no other way than to have the wires from the jets to go all the way to the park lights in the front of the car? can't be connected to the fusebox or something? the pics shows the turn light, but what is those blue plastic things? How should connect the wires "onto" the parking light wire?! cut the parking light wire and use a splice? Is the parkinglight wires on the same connection as the headlight?

you really need to look at a book on wiring before you tackle this, your questions are more along the lines of generic wiring than they are BMW specific wiring. The reason I showed you that red connector is that one wire goes into it, another wire comes out of it, a continuation of the same wire so to speak. That way, you elongate your wires to reach any of 500 different wire points in your car (exaggeration) ![]()
