Body kits on 3 series?

Alrighty, i've been lookin around ( pretty new to bimmers, but im in love)

i noticed that most of the e36 style bimmers and what not seem to have body kits ( that tend to resemble M3 body styling) and make the car look very flush and sleek looking. Where can you go about getting these? and what is the process of instilation.

Also, i have noticed that alot of your side skirts or whatever you call them are the same colors/tone as the rest of the car.

Do you buy new ones that are the same? or can you have them painted? From most pictures of ones that aren't painted, they look to be rubber/plastic, and i wouldn't think you can pull off the gloss/shine that i see on them.

just b/c the kid gets an m3 kit doesn't constitute him posing as an M3. He would have to put the M3 Badge on his car. I have a full Rieger Kit and the front bumper resembles the M3 bumper with an added lip. I have M3 Mirrors does that make me an m3 poser? Just b/c you want you car to look better doesnt mean a thing.

Now all these kits you speak of are around. Some good names in the business are Rieger, Hamann, Racing Dynamics, AC Schniztzer, and I don't know who makes the replica kits but people on the boards will let you know happily where to get them. Just make sure you get quality products, you get what you pay for is the most important saying to remember when dealing with your car.
