How hot should a supercharged 95 M3 get? I have a 1995 M3 which has an ESS supercharger on it. Since we installed the supercharger, the car has ran very hot. It got up to 235 on my water temp. guage and it went to the last line before the red on my factory guage. Anyone that has experience this before, I really need your help. Thanks

That's pretty hot. It doesn't even sound like you're running an I/C. |

That is way too hot. In fact you're very close to the limits into the overheating range. The European Project BMW M3 car has seen less than 210F degrees at the track! I recommend water injection, a intercooler from ESS, and HIGHLY recommend an oil cooler.

If you are sitting still and the needle goes up but goes back down when you accelerate, I would say fan clutch. Thermostat, perhaps its sticking ... or failing water pump. I would definitely swing by ERT ... you are right by them.

Yeah, ERT is about 20 minutes away. They don't like the fact that I went with a different supercharger than theirs. But with all the hassles, I wish I would of, since they are local. Thanks for the reply.
