legal tint in new jersey

Hey, I wanna tint my windows, I live in new jeresy, i was just wondering if anyone knows the legal limit in new jersey and what would you personally reccomend? also, how much could it cost me and wat percent should i do my windsheild?

Legally??? There should be no tint on the front windows. But my friends are getting away with 38% all around. It's not super dark but, it does the job without the hassle from the cops.

New Jersey --- NO TINT ON FRONT WINDOWS.

Rest of the car you can spray paint the windows if you want.
