| Depends how big your campus is There is definately something to be said for having a car, quite another to be the one that gets stuck driving all the time. ![]() The price seems a bit high on that one though. I don't know if I'd pay more than $4500-5000 (KellyBB reports $3650 for excellent condition) for it but the mileage is good. I drove my old '86 325es to about 170000 miles without any major problems. It should get you through another 4 years without incident. Is it being sold by a private owner or a dealer? Prob due for a timing belt soon so I'd figure that in if it hasn't been replaced recently. | I'm all for having a car at college. It really lets you do more without having to rely on other people. As for the car, it looks great. If you can knock a few hundred off and find out about that timing belt, it might be a good deal.

| sorry, yeah its a dealer, thats pretty much the only problem, plus the fact that im a lil' limited on money, and thoes chrome wheel arches just dont do it for me. KBB for a dealer is $5,640

| Ebay Motors, i swear i am not pulling your chain, i found my stock 97 Maxima SE 5spd on ebay, it happened to be in a nearby town so i went to check it out, haven't had a problem with it since and now look at it :-) Having a car at college is a major +++ especially if your school isn't CLOSE to anything. |

| That price is steep... I paid $3,000 for my 1990 325i and it had 93k miles, been garaged all its life... paint is perfect and the interior is spotless. I am taking my car to college simply because the university is 45 minutes away from home, so I can drive home whenever needed. The car will probably sit in the parking garage all week, as I don't plan on giving people rides ![]()

| Ebay also has cool searches that you can do like "local" searches and that sort.
