| Rotors for daily driver I'm in the process of replacing the rotors/pads etc on my car and I was wondering if the 'slotted' rotors are really necessary for a daily driver vs the OEM rotors. I like aggressive driving but this car never sees a track so is it really necessary? Am debating between the ATE OEM replacements and the ATE Power Disk slotted version. Any help/insight would be great. |

| i've had powerdiscs on the fronts of my last 2 cars. they look cool, and if you push them for the purpose of seeing if they will work (like repeated heavy braking on purpose) you can tell a bit of difference, but it also depends on the pads you are running. also, both sets of front powerdisc rotors i had warped. including my current set. nate |

| That is what I have on there right now and they are warped as well. I'm using Pagid pads. The biggest annoyance though is that I replaced my pads about a year ago so the pads are still good thickness wise. Unfortunately I had the rotors resurfaced at the time but are now warped. Is it bad to use the pads that are currently on there (3/4 pad life approx)? I have no problems replacing them but I hate to do it when they still have life left in them. |

| It will keep the rotor cooler and will help stopping as well. Try www.brakewarehouse.net they have great prices.
