Honda Parts??? Help!!

I need to put new brakes on my girlfriend's 1998 Honda Accord ex. Does anybody know where I can get the replacement parts for cheap? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you just need brake pads, you should be able to get them from any autoparts store. If you need to the rotors or anything like that, I would recommend Majestic Honda.

Thanks, I thought I needed everything based on the price the mechanic gave her but it is only pads. They wanted almost $500 to change the pads front and rear. In fact they put them on the car after she told them not to and tried to charge her for them. I told them to eat shit and die, and to take them off the car because I would take car of it myself. I can't stand crooked shops. I think the name is Tony's Auto Service in Alexandria, VA. Sorry to rant and rave, but that stuff just pisses me off.

i think shops make most if their money on brake jobs, because they charge ungodly amounts of cash for this trivial thing... i think my record was 45 minutes to replace all brake pads... start to finish. parts can't be more than 150-200 for a documestic, perhaps a little more for imports.

you may want to also check out http://www.honda-tech.com. there are a lot of people on the board who are owners/employees of honda/acura dealers.
