lower or new tranny?

I'm trying to figure out what I should do---I'm sitting pretty high right now (check my gallery) so I thought I might go for a suspension upgrade, another big problem is that my car is an auto...what should I take care of first?

i prefer performance before looks, and let me tell you i think that a tranny swap would be a much more fun mod right away than it would be to lower it.

i agree it would be a lot more fun driving a manuel around, than just lowering it.

dropping it properly would be adding to the performance..... save up some more and do it all at once.... but if you dont, atleast you wont have to put your car on a lift to get the tranny out

i would also say to swap the tranny man......people think its a sissy ass car when the see it all fixed up but the they look on the inside and see the automatic sittin there....plus the 5spd is a hell of alot more fun than it being lowered....

I agree with TurboRider3, and Villein. Performance should always be before looks I think. Plus, Not only would people think its a sissy car when they see a lowered automatic, but having it be a lower automatic BMW, people would just be outright disgusted!

I'd much rather have a manual than a lowered auto. But that's just me.
