need help deciding

I am havin a problem figureing out which engine i want to build a turbo motor out of, i am stuck between the 2.5 in the 325i or the 2.7 in my 325e...i know the 325i motor is like 167hp stock, and mine is only like 122 or something.. what would anyone suggest, also is the 2.5 a direct replacement bolt in for my 85 325e?

look into what it would cost to get a motor out of a 94 or so E36 325i or M3 (if you have the money), i know they fit pretty well, and thats what most turbos are made for, if you do decide on that, check out ACTIVE AUTOWERKES turbos. good luck.

r the E36 motors a direct drop in? i do have the money, but by spendin that extra money it will take away from my turbo funds, i currently have a 2.7 and a 89 2.5 sittin in my basement i was gonna see if i could put the 2.7 top end on the 2.5 block wit the 2.5 cam and ECU with a dinan chip and build the turbo form there, but if i use the 2.7 bottom end its gonna be bored enough to make it atleast 2.99 liters, also does anyone know if the exhaust manifold from the 524td will fit on the 2.5 or 2.7 head? cause i dont really wanna have a custom manifold cut, i found a 85 524d exhaust mani for $75.......
