Nice vid... i'd love to have either car. It'll be interesting to see which s4 enthusiasts like more... v8 or turbo, tough choice.

The S4 doesnt have the agressive look like the M3. Its a good challange, but this M3 is 3 1/2 years old. The new one I bet will blow them all away!

the same old arugment just rehashed for another new chapter. The fact is that the current S4 probably has better performance than the current M3 i don't know since i haven't driven either of the cars. yes these results might change when the new version of the M3 comes out but that is the way of things you can't always be on top.

I think they made the S4 seem a bit faster then it is around the track. A couple mags have also done the same sort of track time trial and the M3 has whooped the S4 so a lot depends on the track and the driver.

If I was just buying a street car, I'd probably get the S4 as well over the M3.

seems like everytime i see a video about the s4 or rs4, the "understeer" is ALWAYS brought up..

i think the m3, being a couple years old already, is still right there with the s4... but even still more disappointing is in the straight line. the turbo s4 and the v8 s4 just cant keep up with the 6 cylinder beast, which is really sad for audi... for everyday purposes the s4 is better- but screw it- i dont have kids and i live in sunny california-- M3 for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to remember that when the last generation S4 came out it beat the E36 M3 as well.

And I think you all know what happened after that.

Yeah BMW released a fat, numb, poor excuse for an M car they call the e46 M3......
