Anybody watch this morning?

Jay Leno was doing the Today show this morning, and they had a segment on the Italian Job (movie with the Minis). It was kinda neat, Leno jumps into a Mini S and starts going ballistic in the middle of the Plaza in Rockefeller center.

Tire smoke everywhere, tires spinning, rear wheels locking, 180's and reverse slides.

Leno wasn't shabby.

I wish i'd got my butt up early to get a spot in the city to see that.

I was exciting about that movie (most becuase of the mini chases) but I don't think I am going to see it anymore. But damn, I wish I were up this morning to see that. I am sure the video will make it's way around the net eventually.

Jay Leno is one of the few celebrities that I really respect. And damn, have you seen his car garage?

Jay has a lot of track time from what I've heard in not only the various cars he owns, but also when they come out with special anniversary cars I know he ususally gets first drive privilage type things. I'd like to see Jay in something like Trans Am or the SCCA TC Speed Challenge...see how he does vs the Pros.

you guys ever seen on Leno when he took out the 2002 Trans AM WS6 and did a test on the track with it. He was nasty at it. I think he reached like 130 in it. (If i ever go to American Cars the WS6 is the way to go!)

I DID see that...it was one of the new 30th Anniversary Trans Ams, right? The yellow ones? I don't recall what it was on, but I did see it. Very cool stuff.
