| sorry man , no cars where stock. ALmost every car was modded or iced |
| |||
| Indeed different countrys have different styling. Good remark ![]() |
| |||
| I believe that is a true remark. In europe WIng doors, 10.000 dollar ice installs, custom painting with flares and special effekts, neon its just all been done 1OOOO times ![]() If you want to win troffees you got to do something new and existing. Personaly i am a big fan of the clean usa style but i can appreciate a fat german style car or a good styled honda. When you do a lot of carshows like i do, you not only c the result in styling but you c the originalety and the craftmanship that goes into some differnt tuning styles. Its not just buy a bumper and let a body shop do it and pay the bill. Heck thats easy. Making a custom bumper with new shapes thats realy a different ball game. Making your own wing doors from scratch...you trie it ![]() In europe people say about usa styles: it a nice style but they dont understand why people of 17 years of age buy cars with the money of their father and they buy m3 so... In europe to buy a M3 you have to be 45 and have lots of money. So they say its nice but its easy with fathers money so they think... you are all snobs and you dare not to be orginal ![]() I dont say that but i just wanted to give you a insight in european thinking ![]() |

Only a handful of American parents buy their kids nice cars. Not everyone is as rich as Europeans think. Everyone goes to work and gets paid. We pay bills just like everyone else. Some kids have to work for their cars; pay their insurance bills and pay their own gas bills. I was fortunate to have my mother buy me a BMW for my first car. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. But I digress... Bono |

| I agree with what he said about crafting your own parts. I do not really like the look of alot of those Euro BMW's, but I do appreciate the time and hard work put into it. Same way that I feel about muscle cars and low rider trucks... not what I would choose, but I like them in their right... As for parents buying their children M3's, that's not really the case. Plenty of parents buy their kids their first car (or help pay for it), it's just kids who drive the more expensive cars that get all the negative attention. There's nothing more jealousy-inducing then to see a 16 or 17 year old kid driving around in a BMW. There are plenty of people on these forums that get a good part of their money from their parents. I don't know why the percentage (compared to Honda or Chevy owners) is so high, but it is... -Ducky
