Help!!! Engine seizing up!

ok, i dont know why this is happening, but 3 times today i was driving and the engine just stops. the first time i was taking off and all of the sudden my tires locked up, i thought my foot had slipped off the clutch and it engaged fast enough to break the wheels loose, then the second time, the car was sitting in neutral and it just died, third time i was just cruising when all the sudden the car tried to lurch to a stop. Symptoms are momentary and do not last. the car tries to stop and then continues normally. help me here, i dont know what could be wrong, plugs are almost new, could my fuel injectors be clogged up? all i have engine wise is an intake and a Dinan chip, and there have been no problems with these mods for the last 2 years. Thanks for any advice.

well sol, was that why you were merging on the free way at like 25 the other day when i was behind you in my cavy...lol. umm. im having the same problem with my pos. mines comptuer shit. so maybe yours too... i would say go and get it diagnosed there are so many problems. but one thing that will rule out alot...is your engine light comming on at all?

check the air filter

The battery connections
Check to see if the mass/air meter is fully plugged in

Sounds like something could have become undone in the sensor department.

when you say seizing up it makes me think of oil. check your oil

not that i think you're that dumb, plus youd have a light come on
