BBS wheel color, black, silver, or gold centers?

here is a pic of my bbs GT2's. I'm going to have them refinished in a color and put on my E30 M3, but I can't decide which one to choose. black, gold or silver? The lips will be polished.

for colors, i'm thinking this gold:


a black black, not gunmetal, but shiney black.
darker than this (chris F's wheels)


or just a regular wheel silver?

what do you guys think?

Nice car.

Eric, never put black rims on a Bimmer. IMHO, not only does it look like it's a set of hub caps, but it's just bad. Gold would be nice but I don't think it would match the color of your car. The color I think you should do is gunmetal; it definitely matches your car. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I would consider Porsche Fuchs (how do you pronounce that, BTW) to look like hubs. Of course, it's my opinion. Where did I get lost in the trend!?

I think it is a toss up between Gunmetal and Silver...I'm thinking that the gunmetal will look the best on your silver car....It'll look deeper. Post pics of what ever you choose.

dont get black. It just looks dirty on a silver car

here are the BBS wheels after a powdercoat job
the polished lip on the wheels now are a 1 inch depth, I'm trading them in for a 2.5 inch depth
