UUC exhaust

which UUC exhaust should i buy, the original system U or the new twin silencer, and whats the difference?

I dont know much about the first one but i hear the twin-silencer is pretty nice, but it is kinda loud. But that might be what your lookin for.

I believe that the TSE is a true dual exhaust. It maintains dual pipes all the way through. I think the sound is a bit different. But you can infer that the System U is more popular because of the price being higher.

both are true dual, the difference is sound. The system U is louder and has slightly more gains

will the system U be TOO loud? I mean I wouldn't want wanna drive around loud all the time and almost seem obnoxious. Some bimmers sound like civics nowadays...

I have had both.

The system U has a more growly sound and seems to be a bit louder at 2k-2.8k rpms as well as about 6k rpms. It sounds kinda like a open exhaust but obviously quite muffled.

The twin silencer does not have a pronounced loudness at cruising rpm's or the lower 2k- 2.8k rpms. However it can get loud on open throttle about 4k. (note I have a heavily modified engine and yours will sound a bit different).

The twin silencer sounds killer! it is definately not the motorcycle high pitched noise you hear from some abnoxious hondas and the like. It is a bit higher pitched than the system U and has what I feel a somewhat Ferrari V8 sound/tinge to it. Which was an added bonus. I love it with the windows down. Through tunnels at high rpm I probably piss of the neighboring cars but thats ok by me.

either is good Twin silencer has a cool sound that I like.

Anyone that's looking at the TSE might want to look into the Rogue Engineering DMS exhaust too.
