Post pics of your aftermarket front bumpers!

Hi fellas!

My gf just got into a sorta "small" accident last night. Anyway, her front bumper is pretty much cracked on one side so she'll most likely have to replace it.

She's got a 2002 325i. Any suggestions on front bumpers or on what to do?

I told her to replace it altogether (and to also get a bat and hit back and sides to get a whole kit ).

If she does, what do you suggest as for kits?

Price and where to buy would also be GREAT!.

Whoa, tiger, before you start swinging a bat, keep in mind that insurance companies insist on doing their own estimate before they cut a check (ask me how I know...). It's going to be really hard to explain why all four sides are damaged, unless you say vandalism. Then, you'd have to file a police report, which would be perjury.

I don't think Bondo is the answer. What you should do is have both of you tell her father, but offer to help get it fixed. That way, she gets the aftermarket bumper and you look like a great boyfriend for volunteering to help. Besides, he probably won't yell at her so much if you're there.

Oooh, good point. Didn't think of that.

Anyway, yeah, she's going to tell her father about it. Now the question is whether or not to get an aftermarket one or not. Her back bumper's got some scratches and stuff as well. She ran over a cone that was on its side on the freeway.

The bumper is missing the bottom piece behind and the temperature sensor is apparently broken.

I'd post pictures if I could attach photos but I can't on here for some reason...

if it was Your car i would say get an aftermarket bumper. but for her.....just do whatever shes probly just gona run over another cone on the freeway and mess up the next bumper

Hehe, that's what she was afraid of. But I guess she WOULD like an aftermarket one but

1.) she's not sure of the price (if it's more or less expensive than the original)
2.) she's not sure she can even find one she likes.

Any ideas on the cost difference?
