I Cant Believe This!!

Last night iwas at a friends house, there was a bunch of people there, all my friends, well anyway, this morning i noticed a 7 inch gash in my convertible top under the lest side of the rear window.. I AM SO FU*K*N PISSED!!!!!!!! when i find out who did this, i will not stop hurting them untill they are seconds from dieng, i swear... any idea if it can be repaired or will i have to get a whole new convertible top?

my friend's eclipse spyder has been victim of that twice. its not an easy fix. Temporarily, he put a vinyl strip underneath it for water protection and patched it with some sort of epoxy. A dealer quote for a fix (not sure if its a new top or what, but an official repair) was going to run him a little over 800$.

the worst part is their is nothing u can do. people feel like being dicks and cutting other people's tops. It used to happen to my dads 328ic. (thats why he got rid of it).

that sucks bro, most likely youll have to get a new one, prolly go through insurance and file it as vandalism

i got thrown of prudential insurance like 3 months ago, cuz i had 2 $2000+ damage worth of accidents, but both were not my fault... i dunno why i got thrown off, i also have 12 points tho.. im prob not goona go thru insurance cuz im afraid what they will do. but when i find this kid... im beating him, may not be the right thing to do, but im to pissed, i dont even care

That sucks to hear.. i hate when this shit happens...

As for the fix you can get kits to patch it up, but the aesthetics of the car will be lost.. i think youll just have to replace the top, unless the tear is near a seam, you could always make it look like part of the seam.
