hp figures for e30 and e36 325i

im looking to buy a 325i in the near future but the main reason i came back on the forum is someones hell bent on telling me what hp figures a 325i makes and theyre wrong so anyway... bottom line.. what does a bone stock e30 325i make at the wheels and what does a bone stock e36 325i make at the wheels.

Depending on the dyno.... on a dynojet you should see like 130 or so on the E30, and 160 or so on the E36. The E36 325i motor is FAR superior to the E30 325i..

Factory, the E30 325i is rated at 168hp and the E36 at 193hp.

Thats wrong, the E30 has 168 Hp and 168 TQ, with a 0-60 in about 7.1 to 7.4, and with the E36 its 189 HP, 181 TQ with a 0-60 in 7.4 to 7.8 because it is a heavier car. Both are good cars, the E30 have lots of power, and you can get the Hp up there is you want, the E36 are also great cars, but don't buy them fron 92-94 life mid of 94, because they have headgasket problems, im not sure if they ever fixed that problem or not, what happen was the headgasket would just blow at low milage, some where about 30 to 40,000 miles, if there is anything else just ask me.
