perfect drop?

i just got some new 17" bmw motorsport wheels on and i was wondering how many inches to drop my car from stock?
i want it to be low but not that low... its a daily driver...
1, 2 inches?

i'd say 2" would be alright

2" is a good drop. I went with the BAS springs, it is about 1.5 in front and 1.0 for the rears...... Have slight issues with the BIG speed bumps but not too much if your careful.

I love the way it sits.......And the ride is still good........

Well not long after doing the springs and shocks I put in some TMS sways. They made the biggest handling difference.
Don't get me wrong the drop did improve handling a good bit, but the sways are icing on the cake.....

With them It handles like a go kart....

I don't know about the install cost I did mine myself....
PITA but well worth it.
