Oil service on a 323i

My nephew has a 1999 323i. He just had the oil changed at a local shop. My question is how do you reset the oil service message that is displayed when you start the car? He does not have the owner's manual. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to buy a reset tool. Here is a link to buy one. Just plug it in under the hood and hold a button down and that is it. Easy.
