Need opinion from BMW pricing experts

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to getting a used BMW, but really can not afford anything nice. Recently, a used BMW on eBay caught my attention. Here is the link to that car (Auction ends on Monday, 4/28/03)

It should be a 1993 325si with some mods

My question, then, is how much should this car cost? The seller seems nice and honest, but I thought it would be nice to get some independent assessment from people who knows. Of course, I am just asking for an opinion, not going to hold anyone to anything.

don't be silly there is a bmw for any budget, maybe not an M car but a good bmw... i'm not an expert in regular 3 series pricing so i'll let some owners answer that

Yeh, like I said, the guy who is selling seems nice and honest; not big surprised that he is a member of this EXCELLENT community. I am not purchasing immediately due to financial reasons. But any of you guys out there looking for a bimmer, I would recommend at least taking a look.

yeah, i mean i've heard of plenty of e36 style 318's and such selling for under 10 grand, and no question, particularily these lower performance variants, will last for very high miles... my daily driver is a GTI 16 valve and its still got good compression even after 165k hard miles.

How long has the seller been trying to sell this car?

Did I see it on sale here last year? Or am I mistaken him for another person?
