Fasted way to get to 13sec

When I get my M3, i want her to look good but more so be fast. 13 sec M3 works just fine for me. I would look for faster but not anytime soon. Now what are some things to do to get to that goal. Now dont say turbo cause i Dont have 11k to cash out for one. Only things I can think of are
Exhaust
Chip
Intake
headers (dont know if their worth it, i saw soem site saying it gains me 11hp...for 1200....didnt seem good unless that site is totaly off)

now how fast do u think those mods will get me minus the headers? and what are other mods that you guys think are good to get?

I have heard of many E36 M3s runnin 13.8-.9 stock. But intake chip and exhaust will definitly put any E36 M3 in the high 13s. 95 M3s with euro HFM, chip, intake, exhaust and cams could definitly pull mid 13s with ease. I would bet with a killer launch ( 1.9 60 ft.) one could see low 13s with that setup.

Nitrous will get those 1/4 mile times down, just make sure its set up properly. I don't think its too expensive...but it still isn't pocket change.

A used supercharger would be the best bang for the buck. You can pick up used RMS kits for 3000 easy.

supercharger would not necessarily help, great high end but kills low to mid, unless its twin screw

they're aren't really many. you could convert to obd I for a good gain in power but that isn't really cheap. m3's come with good headers, so all your really doing when you replace em is just trading some low end for a tiny but up top, which might not actually be faster in the 1/4 anyways.

you could put a shorter diff in it for pretty cheap and go pretty good in the 1/4, but you'd have no top end speed for highway.

sure there is a bunch of little shit you can do but it all adds up fast, an intake, chip, cat back, and a track pipe (cat bypass) would be a good start, since you don't like n20.

i can't believe AA still gets away with charging 11 grand for a kit that sucks.

An intake would be the first place to start, but 13 flat on your motor, you are looking at spending at least $3000-$4000. You would need almost every possible mod:

Intake, Headers, LT Fly, Custom Programming, OBD I Conversion, Cams, High flow Injectors, Exhaust, Track Pipe, Throttle body upgrade, High Flow intake runners, etc, etc.

If you have to stay NA, then you basically have to do all of the above to hit 13 even. It is not going to be easy or cheap. Driving lessons would also help a bit, maybe on launching the car. Oh, your car would also be illegal to drive on public roads at that point, but my guess is that people do it anyway.

Some people do not want to go FI, but if you want to hit 13 or lower, then it is the only real way of doing it. AA had a special running on Superchargers for the E36 M3, for only $5K installed. The deal is over, but I don't suppose it went up too much.

If you are interested in a cheap intake, check out the Hot Buy section. There is a group buy on Benfer intakes right now. We are at 30 people already so the price can not get any lower.

The basic intake is only $100. The K&N upgrade is $20, then $10 for shipping in the U.S. Check it out if you are interested.

its a 5000 dollar blower and i KNOW aa has room in that price, if you really wanted a supercharge i'd just call them and tell them you want it at the sale price. if you have any skills you should have no problem.
