| actually those are close enough that drivers could make a difference in the outcome...as well as variables in testing of whatever magazine those numbers came from.

You mentioned racing this guy tomorrow. Go ahead and buy the 93 octane gas. Maybe invest in a K&N filter, deflate your front tires for added traction, take out your spare in the trunk, and make sure you get a good launch. That's your best chance of beating him. | If i were in your situation, owned a nice, clean accord... I would focus less on making it fast... and make it into a pimp ride... tint, 20's, stereo, black trim, debadging, dual exhaust (well... perhaps not dual on a 4cyl.. hehe) Theyre well made cars... Car and Driver seems to appreciate them. well made for doing what they were originally intended to do. Trying to break outside of that is going to cost you a lot of money, probably a lot more stress/hair pulling. just my $0.02 |

| His situation is that a kid that he knows (who owns the '96 GS-R) was talking shit, Raccord said that he should stuff it and bring it to the track. Anyway, they may go tomorrow. He just wants to make sure he won't get slaughtered...

| Eh... i let people talk their shit... I don't street race... just occasionally run random people on the freeway/at stoplights if I'm in the mood. Only leads to breaking something, or getting caught. (or both...) Heh. |
