what is this peice!?!

Well, i was workin on my bumper this weekend and while underneath the car i saw a small metal circular sensor with two wires coming out of it. The sensor is hanging down, and my guess is that it shouldnt be. Does anyone know what this does. I was thinking that it is my front airbag sensor. if that is the case i would like to know where it goes so i can put it back before i begin driving the car. Thanks for your help

Yea, i never figured out what sensor that was for but it plugs back into your passanger side air duct.

Yea thats my car, i bought it from a dealer in southern New Jersey (altho i bid for it on ebay). I got it about a month ago.

Temp sensor if it is in your left air duct( looking at the car from the outside) is snaps into place in the airduct.

Yea. I saw it on ebay, thats why i was wondering about it, plus people were talkin about it on a forum here. How is it running?

its running really well actually. I've taken care of all the mechanical problems so far. Still needs cosmetic work but that can wait. I've fixed the drivers window, and both mirrors and the drivers power seat. It pretty much just needed some TLC to get it back in decent shape. it only cost me about 15 bucks in parts from the dealer to fix things that were broken.

the one that plugs into the brake duct is the temp sensor for the obc. there is another similar sensor in there somewhere that has something to do with outside temp feed for the digital climate control, if your car has digital.
