H&R or Eibach?

Hey,
I am about to lower my 99 e36 323is and I was wondering what the general concensus for the best springs/shocks out there was. I hear/see a lot of good stuff about eibach as well as h&r, but its impossible to REALLY know how good a company's product is, especially when they all say their stuff is #1. my question goes out to anyone who can answer it: what is better for turning my car into more of a race car: Eibach or H&R? Thanks
