Getting power for a 323i 2000

I just got a 323i 2000 and am looking for tried and true methods for getting power. I was not sure if i should get new intake or engine software, etc. Also, what would be a good brand to look for?

u can't have significant power increase in 323i, sorry to tell you that most 323i has no power and could easily been blown by ricers...

intake:
dinan cold air intake with dinan stage 2 chip

power? get RMS supercharger or Dinan supercharger

sell it and get an E36 M3. you'll have 240hp easy. there just isn't much out there for the 323i. i would research RMS before giving them any money...

yeah, you can never go wrong with a used M..just make sure its taken care of and not abused to badly..also yesterday i met a fellow DTM'er Khanh75 at home depot and he has a 2000 323i, Eisenmann exhaust, hamann wheels...i saw it go through the parking lot, i heard then i saw that it was debadged, so when he parked i stopped and i talked to him about it...not that bad of a car, but a used M3 would be a hell of a lot more fun.

asa makes a great supercharger i think its somewhere around 310 bhp on 7 lbs not positive on numbers

Yeah, I think Samir over at Renn-Sport has said that forced induction is the best way to get power out of the 323i. He didn't make a power kit for it based on that reasoning.
