Question about TRI FLO Exhausts

I need to know if an E36 325, 328, and M3 triflo exhaust all have the same application? In otherwords, would a E36 325 exhaust fit and M3 and vice versa or are they a different cat back system altogether?

Secondly, are the tri flo tips embossed with an emblem or something of that matter? It occured to me that they are not engraved or embossed with a BB tri flo marking.

Thirdly, does anyone have a vid that they could post of the tri flo exhaust on their inline six bimmer? Im not sure which of you have tri flo but opinions on the exhaust would be welcomed.

cmt...got a question for ya......I have tri flow exhaust ...i removed the resignator closest to it. It has a great sound, but i would like it alittle louder. What do you think about removing the second resignator? Well that help or hurt? thanks

I would think that it would help the sound, if that is what you are looking for, but if it is on an E46 then you might be better off asking one of the E46 mods like tdc or Kaisake. I think Tom had his resonators removed and the exhaust sounded great.

Ive installed a catback exhaust off of a m3 to a 328. Why not just call tri-flo and ask them if it would fit, im sure they can augment it if it does not . If it makes any difference the swap went off without a hitch, and no adaptations had to be made. TRI-FLO is rediculously loud, but maybe im just getting old

i have the tri-flo exhaust on my 330Ci.. its the loudest thing i've ever heard..

I would definately NOT recommend taking the resonators off since it already drones crazily at low RPMs..

For those who say the Tri-flow is too loud, does it drone at normal cruising rpms?

Oh yeah. At 3500 RPM on the highway, with the windows down and sunroof open, I feel like I am in a Biplane. It is definitely not for everyone.

Mine sounds great but does drown under 2500 rmp's.
