one of them could get ticket as many as 28 tickets in 6 days ... amazing..

those CHPs should escort them .. not ticketed them... argh.. they made their names become worst in front of 600 magazines around the world

chp, bunch of pigs

its so stupid how the cops would crack down so much. i can understand if something happened like a huge accident but please. whats just as bad is the fact that people will call 911 to report a crazy driver-- if i got cut off by a bunch of ferrari's and such, i would be happy as hell... like a story for the grandchildren type thing..

if you survived if an accident happened. jk

i must agree and disagree with CHP, although most cops are pigs. whatever the gumballers do, its their business. if they risk their lives, it's ok with me. however, you have to agree that speeding over 120mph on public roads puts other motorists in danger, too.

so yea, the best idea would be to have police somehow escort the racers in densely populated roads, although that would be hella expensive.

i dont think police escort would work. which cop would let you swerve through traffic? prob none, it would be moderated so bad that it would end up destroying itself. ya they do put others in danger... i dont know the solution, i just think that locking em up and giving out tickets is stupid, especially speeding tickets if there is no one on the road.

they are rich basterds though

interesting that a hundred, $150k+ exotics can weave through traffic without any incidents, but give an uninsured mexican a pick-up truck and.......dave chappelle taught me that

HAHAHA I hate the messican drivers. They always drive those pick-ups with EVERY SINGLE aftermarket part they can get from JC Whitney or Jegs...

Anyway, I agree with what CHP did. It kept their roads safe... plus they met their quota (for the month) in one night. Gotta pay to play.

And no, Dado wasn't doing the Gumball this year.

It does make sense that they did that. While im sure most of the people in the gumball are responsible(well atleast they have money), the police just want to stop imitators from doing gumball events. What if the united Camaro club wanted to race across america, or a stray ricer claims hes in a gumball type event?

Side note: The Gumball is NOT a race. It's a rally. There's no single "winner" or "loosers". It's not a timed event and therefore it's a road rally.

Side note 2: Dado is NOT in it this year, and doesn't plan on doing the Gumball anymore. Too much money, not enough fun (compared to the Players Run).
