Gumball Update from Reno, NV

Pretty sweet shit, alot of really nice cars showed, however, 40 cars were impounded before Reno. F50 must have been apart of them. They are headed down to Vegas right now. Some of them heading in totally different directions then others, kidna weird. I managed to ask a few of the BMW guys if they were DTM members but non that I spoke to were. We followed them for a bit on I80, they really werent speeding like I imagined but it was fun pacing them. Son-of-a-bitch, I left the digi-cam in the backseat of my cousins car. Get pics tomorrow.

I have a dumb question, what do you mean by 40 cars were impounded. I thought impounded mean being towed away? I couldn't imagine them towing 40 cars in one night.

Anyway...I was there in San Francisco and saw a bunch of them on I-80. They were all going really fast, swerving through trafic...way to fast to pace them. (This was between SF and Davis). It think the CHP knew they were coming because I saw 4 of them pulled over. Two 996 TT's, a Ferrari 360, and a Z8 was on the side of the road ready to be loaded on a tow truck???

in S2000 forum, a member said that someone in CHP wanted to stop this rally probably because of jealousy, but SFPD and SF Mayor were cool with it althought they did burnout and doughnuts.
