SPEED World Challenge Sebring Broadcasts Debut On SPEED Channel Saturday

Round One of the 2003 SCCA Pro Racing Speed World Challenge Touring Car and GT Championships, from the March 12-14 Mobil1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Weekend, will be broadcast this Saturday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET, respectively.

The Sebring SPEED GT event features the debut of road racing powerhouse BMW Team PTG, with drivers Boris Said, Bill Auberlen and Hans Stuck leading the three-car assault, as well as Champion Racing unleashing the new Audi RS 6 on the field for Michael Galati and Randy Pobst. They will all have to contend with a slew of nimble Porsches and high-powered Corvettes and Saleens, benefiting from the new Toyo RA-1 race tire this year.

In SPEED Touring Car, Pierre Kleinubing begins his quest for a fourth SPEED Touring Car Championship in the new RealTime Racing Acura RSX. This may be the toughest title for Kleinubing to claim though, as the SPEED Touring Car field looks stronger than ever with such name drivers as Bill Auberlen, Mike Fitzgerald and Roger Foo breathing down his neck.

Stuck was ridiculous in this race especially considering where he started. Only thing good about those RS6's are their launches

Where can we find out the MODS on the BMW cars? For the Turner Motorsports 325i and the PTG M3? I check their websites and no specifics are given... Not looking for a blueprint but generally what mods they are running..

They can't do much of an engine change because that is how they got kicked out of ALMS 2 seasons ago. They put a V8 in the M3 which isnt stock, obviously, and Porsche bitched them out - f a gs- anyway I have a hatred for Porsche and the only really engine mods would be some huge intakes and some other lil stuff. I have a Sports Car Imternational Magazine that has an article all about the M3 and i think they said something like 400HP with the restrictors(air dams, etc.).
