Anyone goin to Carlisle?

hey i was wondering if any members are heading out to Carlisle for the Custom Compact Nationals? .. was just wondering thanks

I did it last year and it was pretty fun. Its a long drive out there...but the auto x was really entertaining. In fact i watched that the whole time instead of sitting next to my car heh. I don't think i'll be doing it this year however

I was there last year! I had an awesome time. I did not have my bimmer though, this year i was planning on showing...but unfortunatly a dodge ram decided to hit me a few weeks back, and my car just will not be ready with the plans i did have for Carlisle. I will be attending though, but i will be with SPOC (Saturn Performance Owners Club) since my boifriend is the Prez. of the NJ Chapter.

I do however suggest that people go and show. Last year there was a handful of bimmers that showed, and this year since judging is totally different, i'm sure you can all place. I had a blast last year and i'm sure this year i will too!

I'm there. Last years show was big, and I heard that this years is going to be even bigger. If anyone is going from NE, let me know. We have about 5 cars already from the ME and NH area...The more the better!

I'm not showing, but as i stated before i will be attending...i'll look for your car so i can say *Howdie!*
Are you going to be in the judged field or the none judged field since this year the whole judging procedure is different?
Does anyone know if the bimmers are going to be on top that hill like last year????

please do stop by.. i think i'm pretty much on my own this time.. away from my usual crew. also this will be the first time going to Carlisle, so I"m not even sure what to expect. Im still looking for a hotel

Well just to let ya know, your chances of getting a hotel now is slim to none...the crew i'm staying with is staying in Mechanicsburg, i know for a fact the hotel we are staying at has NO more rooms available...if you have trouble finding a hotel look in Enola PA - last year hardly ANYONE stayed in that town, you do have a drive a few miles to Carlisle, but if you need a hotel that badly....also here's a tip - to anyone for that matter, the exit for Carlisle everyday will be PACKED, drive down to the next exit, and follow any hooked up car into Carlisle fair grounds, or you can try to get onto the other side of the highway and take the opposing exit into Carlisle, we did that both Saturday and Sunday and hit NO traffic....becuase i mean the line of cars is UNGODLY!
Trust me though when i tell you, you will have a freakin blast, its so much fun!

Here's an update for all going:

Today - April 12th is the last day to register ONLINE for the discounted fee for the JUDGED field.

If you are planning on just the SHOW field, you may register up to the day of the show, by via phone, online or in person.
