beeing trying to figure out what it takes to bang out 300 hp at the rear for a while.. so far this is my plan.

Dinan Stg. 4 Engine Software Download
Dinan Cold Air Intake

Front & rear strut, that's good for about 20rwhp.

He was pointing out the fact that you had suspension pieces in a thread about how to gain HORSEPOWER.

that was harsh. your "plan for power" did include some things that dont create power, such as the strut braces.

cold air, chip, exhaust and throttle body wont get you at 300hp.

I think your gonna need more than that.

but since I have a subaru, maybe I shouldnt comment.

Ok he was making the point that strut bars won't give you any performance gains. With those mods expect 10rwhp. Nothing more.

If you really want 300 rwhp, why not try a turbocharger... they seem to work wonders for power.

You want 300 to the rear wheels ???? going NA?

No way, unless you got somebody really tunning your engine like crazy....then MAYBE!

With the above mods you'll get maybe 20 to 25HP to the wheels.

With the right gearing, maybe 300rwhp to get to 175mph. If you want 300rwhp that badly, you could go for a monster cam & some good heads (along with a completely optimized exhaust system, ie: no cats).

Just because he has a Prelude, you're hating on him? That's ****ED UP.

By the way, you aren't even going to see 250 RWHP with the mods you listed. Might as well go forced induction.

Our cars top speed is not limited by Hp it is limited by the dif, contact BMP and price out your options. Also loose that OBD II crap if you wana hit 300 N/A. And remember not to do rice boy math when figuring out HP. 10 from an intake and 15 from exhaust does not equal 25 net HP. And most important, this should be in E36 tech!
