Well I can't really say anything about anyone having a bmw given to them ,,,,, as I got one on my birthday . It is an 89 e30 m3 alpine white . But mind you it was from my wife and it was my 70th birthday . I was speechless , the pointed out that she finally found something that shut me up . Let the kids enjoy the ride .......

exactly man. I believe you appreciate things more when its your money and you worked hard for it. not so much for things that were just given to you

my house hosts 7 bmw cars and 2 bmw motorcycles. think its expensive right. well ur wrong. one motorcycle is from 1969 the other from '72. we own a shitty bmw 2002 from 1969 tht we got for free, and the one i drive only cost us about 400 since it didnt even turn on its a 1985 325e tht i put so much work into. my dad bought a 135 a year ago and did european delivery, think its expensive? it is but definetly worth it. I totalled my e36 328i at the beginning of summer, let me just say i loved tht car to death i cried all night and the rest of the month over it. i told everyone id never sell it, tht car only cost us a grand, so many ppl think kids who drive bmws r spoiled. not true. i feel like we, the kids of bmw of america, have the most passion for our cars then any other teenagers who drive. Ive never seen a kid say i dont know whats so good about my bmw, every kid that owns one knows he has something special.

is it RIGHT to give someone so inexperienced something so powerful? If you are very young with a nice BMW or such, do you get much abuse for it? I ask this because I drive a 406 coupe, and other road users never let me out of traffic, ignore me when Im merging,

I voted both cases have their points.

I will say that motor vehicle accidents take more lives than anything else for american citizens under 25.
