OBD-II conversion / adapter for Alpina B10 BiTurbo

Hi guys - long time since I was here, so probably don't remember me.

Anyway, I have always wanted to get an Alpina B10 BiTurbo (the old E34 version). However importing it to where I live here in Korea requires it to have OBD-II which I don't believe the car had originally.

I think it had Motronic 1.1 or 1.3 engine management system (though could be wrong). Is there any way to get a) an OBD-II system upgrade / installation on the car, or b) some kind of adapter so that an I get an OBD-II ouput plug and can get the relevant computer readings from it?

Really love the car, but not possible to get one here without OBD-II...

I actually own one ,,,

but why in the world do you need OBD II..
keep the car as it is ,, i think it is way to complecated to fix OBD II on such a car

for me personally this is the ULTIMATE E34,, and also the most famous ALPINA ,,, ever made

for 20 years ago ,, dont think how ultra fast this car was,, the fastest 4d car in the world,, still today unbeliveble fast

the B7s E24 and E28 are quicker to 200 km,, but the B10 BT pulls all the way to topspeed,,

my car have a reprogrammed ecu,, blowing 1.0 bar

Both your rego plates are great! Not sure about the yellow colour, but the cars are amazing, and I really want one. I need OBD-II because here in Korea its a requirement to privately import cars that they have OBD-II I believe.

I think this MUST be a misunderstanding,,

if you are going to import a 79 model of a 323 ??? what then

No missunderstanding. Basically, impossible to import an old car here these days. its a legacy of their strict pollution controls and protectionist stance. Basicallywant to make it as hard as possible to privately import a vehicle.

Ok,, the best idea is to contact ALPINA/BMW HQ in your country ,, or ALPINA HQ in Germany and try to find a solution,, many things is possible

B10 BT should stand the emission control
