Introduction(s) of us 4 (long loadingtime)

Sorry if im not right here with posting a introduction.
ive found a bunch of help in this forum and think its fair to participate for everybodys benefit:-)

So, me & wife are german, wife is from munich im from stuttgart. (mercedes/Bmw verbal conflicts here all the time)

Sooo, we got a E30 off Craigslist, in bronzit metallic. A 84 325e.
Did some minor work to it and , yeah its wifeys car.
now its so fun in Scurves, that i decided to get me one too.
The final idea is, they look identical from the outside (incl vanity plates)

So i picked up a badly beaten 325 (e, I assume, but come to that at a later stage) as well, important was the engine condition and drivetrain.

Well seems like too much work to do, but itll eventually pay out , that i know.

So we can seperate them when i spend my paycheck on car parts, we gave em names, hers: Selphie (bronzit, 84 325e) and mine Faith(lupinsblau/blue, 84 325e.

Selphie is gonna be the typical girls car. pretty much stock, minor here and there.
this is gonna take to load!!!

So whats in it so far?
Well first of all the 36cm Mtech II Steering wheel :-)
ACS Pedals & Handbrake
M3 Leather boots Shift & handbrake
Blaupunkt Stereo (blends nicely in i guess) w Amp & Subs (12") and front speakers (havent gotten rear yet)

X-drilled & slotted rotors, (needed a full caliper rebuil front & rear...took me 2 day for the dmn brakes)
And a not so perfect window tint. (had to do it outdoors, so little dust inclusions but not to many)

Ahm strut bar came yesterday and drives niiice!!
And not seen, ive chucked a Dinan Chip in. I popped out the right one lucky me. it was soldered on and 2 options were there:-) )

its dirty, i know. tell my better half.

lot of work to do still to get it somewhere. but for now, it drives, everything works, the brakes are trustworthy and it sticks to the road.

Ah, some alu spray here and there as concept sp far only..

Cured few minor sicknesses (resoldering speedometer, fuel filter, lubricatde here and there..)

and here the ..i dotn dare to show it...its a case of rape and i HAD TO SAVE IT!

So, youre sitting??? if not, sit down...breathe slowly...

So far, I did the strut barm though waste of time. lack of space in storage...
Er, speedo sensor cabling fix, steering pump belt& liquid to find out its leaking "sigh", spare wheel on front as the original rim is 8 shaped....
and following some electrical issues like no speedo lights, OBC, ..got to figure out if thats the righ tinstrument panel anyways, and see what other poorly choosen mods have been put in.
like a hidden switch in the console for the fog lights (aftermarket type) and stuff.
I just gor x-drill/slotted rotors in, but no point in puttign them on till the leak in the power steering is fixed., and transmission is checked. (i bet no fluids), rear sides are tinted.

weeel, it passed DEQ though, and runs strong. engine and rear seat are in a pretty good shape.

well, body work for both.
to come is Faith gets first of all a proper steering wheel. no M.I.C stuff and certainly no grant. How tasteless. that aint a 78 8-banger, plus the sporty interior (no real idea what, just the rear seats are gonna go, bucket seats, new carpet, dash somethign nice, ......)
both are receiving a 2 1/2" drop front and 2" rear. (springs are shipping, rest is taking storage :-) )
and few paychecks down the line a bodykit for both, and a gloss black paint job. plus the obligatory vanity plates.
dammit thats a lot of paychecks down the line...

so greetings all, and here me and my dilemmas :-) more to come

Looks like you will be busy for a little while.

Just the other day I was considering going a similar route and doing 2 project E30s, I think I may go Coupe and Convertible though, as we had that setup in the past. Growing up our family had 2 matching E30s, my 1987 325is and Dad's 1988 325ic, both Black over Cardinal Red.
