I NEED DEQ Help!

I am single mother who just bought this car. (87,Mercury Sable) Really cheap, cause it all I could afford. Anyway, I didn't know the tag's were almost expired in 2 weeks. I took the car to DEQ, It failed, It didn't pass??? I was told by someone there's something you could pour in the Gas tank, or something to make the car pass? Is this true? OR DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANYTHING CHEAP THAT CAN HELP ME OUT??? PLEASE I NEED HELP ASAP! I might get someone to adjust something to pass if this bottle of whatever?? doesn't work? But, I have no money. I live on $448.00 a month. IF THERE'S ANYONE THAT CAN HELP AND TELL ME WHAT TO TRY NEXT. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. Thanks from Debrinconcita in Portland,Oregon.

I NEED TO ASK QUESTION ABOUT HOW TO PASS DEQ? IS THERE A WAY WITH A GAS TREATMENT, OR CARB CLEANER. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP! (TAGS EXPIRE TOMARROW)

no idea. most is pretty much invovled with $$$.
never heared of a DEQ-Pass fluid.

What might help is that you take it for a drive.
does it smoke?
smell bad?
is a engine light on?

can be anything froma 50ct hose repalcement to a catalytic converter replacement....

BMW's always pass. Find a nice good looking old man and tell him to buy you one. My Wife was an single Mother when I met her and I've bought her three BMW's so far. I live in Canada and Canadian Tire has a bottle on the shelf just to treat the engine to pass. I have never bought it, got a Bimmer

THANKS FOR THE REPLY, REALLY I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE DOING THIS CAR STUFF ANYWAY'S? I NEVER HAVE BEFORE. MY HUSBAND OF 23 YRS. He got an inheritance and she made him buy me this car. He flipped his lid and bought too many other's car's and wasted all of his money. Otherwise I would have gotten all this stuff taken care of. He's just partying too much to help, he said he would? Oh well, he bought me the car, it's the least I can do after that, is get my own car to pass DEQ and then start driving around and start looking for a MR.Right before it's too late, THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION YOU ARE SO RIGHT, WHAT AM I THINKING ABOUT LATELY!
