| Hey everybody! Just wanted to say HI and thank you for all the kind words. Im almost done with this whole ordeal, and ready to get back to work. Unfortunatley they gave me 9995.00 for the car, so I still owe the bank 3400k..poop. Dont know when ill be able to get another e36, god knows I wont go any less than the previous one. And it sure is hard to find another technoviolet with mulberry interior....like nigh impossible, but I still have hope. Might be another couple years before I can make the plunge again. I did however pick up a pretty clean justy: ![]() All of that three cylinder power! But nothing like a locked 4wd car in the snow ![]() So one of these days, ill have to inquire for everybodys help to find me another M3 (maybe M5 hehe) And again, thank you to everybody @ DTMPOWER.NET, It has been a wonderful run, and I hope to be back in my rightful place behind that roundel soon! Cheers! -JP ![]()

| NO WAY That actually seems like a fair buck for a for an E36 but that does not mean you have to accept it. By the way my neck hurts today that means it is going to rain in the next two days. I don't know where you are located but I just saw a very sweet 328is Black on black manual, heated seats,(CANADA), sunroof, for $5,300.00 at a car lot. She had 180.000 klm with all the records. Very clean car. I fired it up and it purred like a kitten. Offered to buy it for my wife for a Winter Car but she won't drive a stick.I am searching for a E46 325it and I stubble across several coups and convertibles in the Toronto Market. Used Bimmers have fallen like a rock slide. Really good time to buy. The first thing you are going to find when you get your neck out of the collars is no strength in the muscles. Believe it or not the best exercise you can do is swimming to bring them back. The muscles get hot and the cool water prevents the swelling. I don't know if you have the same stitches I have. Mine go from the base of my scull to my shoulders. I thinking of getting the local ink artist to put in a zipper handle at the bottom so my kids will think I am kool. I have a tattoo from the Navy which they don't think is kool. Anyway get well |

| I actually required no surgery. C2 odontoid Type2 fracture. Lucky in some ways to have such a clean break, but on the other side of the coin its a most often lethal/paralyzing break. So just the halo brace for me. The neck muscles are finally getting pretty close to good, still a couple angles of sore however. Sure wish I had any money to throw down on another car, 14k not too bad for a m3 @ 56k on the ticker and its a exact replica of my old m3(although this one has speed control )Oh well maybe next time!

| LUCKY GUY Your very lucky. C1 and C2 were both broken on mine as well as the base of the skull. They kept me in a coma for three weeks, and a wheel chair for a little over a year so I could learn to use the legs again. Us car nuts actually get attached to our wheel chairs after awhile. I was just getting really good at driving around on just the two big wheel when the therapist took it away and made me hobble around in crutches. I have a metal cage and a piece of my hip to put me back together. I got an honorable medical discharge (4H) two metals for Conduct and Bravery! They did not know I was sh*&^ng my pants most of the time. Now 40 years later I am 59 and my C5 is sore all the time cause its the only vertebrae with full functional movement. Sounds like you will heal a lot quicker than I did. Do you have two holes drilled just above your ears for the halo? Trust me on the swimming it takes the stiffness out of the whole spine which is probably still in shock. Cheers |

| Yeah got 4 holes, in an x pattern around my temple line, one looks like a bullet hole from the wear and tear of sleeping in the halo. When they tighten/re-torque em down its quite an odd feeling! I must say I could only imagine such war-time situations; I think would be sh*&^ng my pants 100 times harder. Even if the motives of our government may not be for the goodness of mankind, I thank you for your sacrifices for this country and the good souls who rest therein.

| Thank You Amen, to that, and thank you. When you scratch the little scar above my left ear I feel it in the back of my head. The have almost had me naked at OHare Airport due to the metal, but no other Airport. Hopefully you will rejoin the Marque soon. I seen a lot of E36 and E30's at bargain prices. Cheers |
