| it's 30k in the US. straight from florida. why don't you try not being such a jerk to someone that's replying and giving their input into your question.

| I'm from Australia, but what type of Skyline are you aiming for with 30k? surely not an R32 gts-t?... R34? or a clean R32 GTR? are prices pretty high over there Anyway, I would chose the M3 mate, such a nice car...a car that is pretty different to a Skyline however. Its all about what you want from the car, and what type of car you would want to own in the end |

| Skyline or M3 same question aka blonde or blackhair babe! M3 is about handling, fun, N/A engine which like high rpm, this is the charm of this engine. On the other side is Skyline, the turbo monster. I dont see any good reason for turbo set up for M3, sorry, I know that you boys from USA like it. If you like boost, buy Skyline, easy way for more horsepower.

| it's more expensive in the US because of all the crap you have to do to get it here. first is the import cost (which if it's comming directly from japan, it's insane). then comes the paper work of actually getting it legal here. you have to change a good dead of the emissions and stuff like that. you also have to try and get it registered. see, you can't register a skyline in the US. when you purchace one here, all paper work will say Nissan 240sx. it's the only way around it. so because of the import cost, emissions red tape, and the paperwork process, the price is jacked up for us here. sucks.

| The problem is Skylines not being a federaly legal car. The best way is to send a chassis minus the parts, then send the parts seperately. Assemble in the united states as a kit car, thus nulling the emissions requirement. However, you being in Canada, skyline is legal to import to your country, so by all means, get an R32 for me! (My bosses R32 is UNREAL) ![]() These are US legal, DOT bond released Motorex cars , two for sale ![]() PM me if interested (seriously interested)

sorry had to laugh...first off a r32 gts-t cost about 8 to 10 grand...a gtr r32 costs 14 to alomost 20 grand..the r34 u cant get in canada yet and the cost for one of those is around 40 some people say 60 who knows cuz there not to be sold here and depending on the condition of the car..theres a 15 year import law and i think takes affect with the states as well so u cant buy a bran new skyline in canada..not 100% sure about the US

| No, you can't legally import a skyline to the states. Well, I guess I shouldn't say that, you can, but you have to get it delivered here, and then it has to be DOT legalized, if it is even possible to do so. Either way, here in the states, they are pretty expensive.

It has to be imported as parts, then you can put it together as the end user, thus dodging emissions requirements & the DOT altogether. If you just imported a Skyline, if (which there was alot of crushed/deported cars not too long ago) it got through customs, the Department Of Transportation wouldnt bond release the vehicle. There is ssomewhat of an exemption on R33 95-96 model year. No OBDII requirement, and these cars had the DOT necessary dual airbags installed. But I didnt say it would be cheap ![]() Or like I said, there is some of the Motorex cars still around, and they are 100% legal. And the US has a 25 year wait before exemption on emissions/DOT regulations. Canada's got it good! R34 in 2023 ![]()
