first scratch

today i got my first scratch. i backed up into a ladder

.

its not as stupid as it seems though!
the parking spot at my house dips downhill at the last moment and you can't see small objects in reverse (EDIT - a ladder isn't too small

), plus i have to look out for the stone retaining walls (3ft high) on either side of the spot.

now i have a nice set of scratches behind my driver side rear wheel, and i feel horrible about it. i am also angry people just left s**t lying around, right across the spot instead of to the side. i feel so guilty for my poor car.

I got some scratches that would make you feel.....well not so bad. The most recent one was my girlfriend dragging the baby seat along the rear bumper underneath the gas door.

And yes, there's a baby seat in my M3. My 5 month old daughter loves to go for "agressive" drives

I actually prefer it when a blemish happens and its my fault. Wierd but then I can contain my anger and I know it was my fault. Doesnt happen often, but Id rather be mad at myself than want to get arrested because of some other asshole.

One time my 325 eta was parked at a shopping centre (never take your precious car to a shopping centre) and when i was walking back towards my car, I saw this lady reversing out which was parked right across my car and i said to myself, asif she's going to slam into my car, and this lady just did. *bang* i totally lost it. it happened right infront of my eyes. i was about to smash her face in, i harassed her so badly im sure she now checks out her back everytime shes leaving the carparks. If it was my own fault, id be less angry. When she was grabbing her wallet to get her license details, i grabbed her wallet off her hand and took it out myself lol and called the police and they found her guilty and her insurance paid for my damages. On the way back home i was so sad. i couldnt look at poor front bumper even though it was just scraped. If i owned a m3 e30 or e36, i think i wouldve been in jail that night. I just love bmws too much.

go buy a buffer and some compound and buff it out...its like magic

...and if that doesnt work just wetsand it out and buff
