| What the deal with e46 break dust??? Alright guys, I want to know what is up with all this break dust that e46's make. My e36 never made my rims dirty, why does the e46 do this? Me and my buddy both got an e46 at the same time and we both noticed our rims are totally covered in break dust after a few days of normal driving. I also have noticed alot of e46's around that have horrible break dust on thier rims. Is there anyway to solve this problem? I feel like i need to clean my rims every single day or the chrome lip will not be chrome. Will some different kind of break pads solve this problem?

| Hmm.. Any recommendations for some break pads that will not cause this problem? I guess the best solution would be getting some of them bright yellow brembos? You know of anything that's not as extravagant that will solve the problem? I just don't want break dust. Not looking for a $1400 set of breaks.

| Axxis deluxe or ultimates seem to be the pad of choice for most e46 guys.

| umm.. wow I am seeing e46 m3 axxis ceramic breaks for around $110 on eBay. That doesn't sound right to me. i thought ceramic breaks were extremely expensive. They're like a $5000 option on a lot of high end cars. Is this for real?

| ceramic brake pads are different than carbon ceramic brakes that you are thinking of. The price sounds about dead on to me.
