| help with the v12...yes already so i notice a bit of smoke coming from the tranny dipstick around that area, let me say im not driving this car like daily, i turn it on take it around the block and test out stuff, so my temp is normal, the add coolant came on, but my dash is in german so i have a print out copy of what all the crap says, so my drunk neighbor, comes over and goes i can have this fixed in 2 minutes, its overheating, and theres 2 thermostats, and he left me saying i have to find them myself, so i sat there for a half hour, still cant figure out, i mean i know around tools, and cars, my uncles teaching me at his garage, but i cant even locate a housing, maybe its stupid, and then this other guy walks by and and goes oo i used to work on big old cars, so i ask him weres the thermostats, he asks all smart, looks around for a couple minutes then goes, i have no idea, later kid, so were are these thermostats or thermostat, im guessing the old owner was driving it like this too i bet, which sucks, i hope this car has strong head gaskets, but the temp gauge never goes by 3 quarters, then the fan kicks in and it cools down, so if any photos or diagrams, ive been looking at some 750il sites and i will go back to them, i dont really trust my drunk neighbor telling me he can help me fix it, during the winter my starter went on my 91 eclipse, and even after pushing and popping it really gave out, and he told me i had to lift my engine to get to the starter, and me and my cousin replaced it at midnight in freezing weather in an hour, and this was before i worked at my uncles shop, also are they oil lines on the back of the heads? im very confident that there is, but im full of stupid questions with this car |
