| Yeah, it was also meant to be a lot lighter than the other 8 series models. For instance the 850csi had a weight of about 1865 kg (381 hp / 550 Nm). Not exactly a ferrari killer... |

| That thing is pretty sick looking. Somebody should build one by buying an 8-series and puting a current M5 engine in it along with alot of weight saving mods. That would be a pretty unique and mean machine.

| yea theres a salvage titles one on ebay by bavarian recylers for 7 grand, seems it scraped a guard rail on the left and there gonna junk it, sad, but theres your basic body, someone with a good 100k could pull of the project and it would be a ferrari killer |

| for 100k you could build up a 996 twin not only to kill a Ferrari, but to decimate it. 100k includes the cost of purchasing the car. Of course it depends on the ferrari, however there are 996's that do the quartermile in like 11seconds with mild/modes tuning???
