| i figured it out. it's the mass air. this morning i took the intake apart and inspected everything. no cracks or loose connections or anything. so i put it back together and started it up. still the same thing. but i had the idea to just disconnect the mass air while it was running. perfect engine. perfect idle, revs, steady rpm about 4000. everything. so it's definitly that.
my only question with that is what the hell is my mass air for?
