e39 540i sport '99 vs e36 328i vert '97

hi guys, im the market for a 328i vert and recently came across a 540i sport and its in imola red. full option and its 1999 model. the only downside is it has 230.000 kms on the odometer. the 328i vert is very clean. it has m kit and all extras nearly including harmon kardons. its also on low mileage and ive always wanted one but since i saw this 540i, i cant make up between the two. im only 20 years old and prefer a e36 vert but this 540i looks incredible and the price on it is very cheap. can you guys lighten me up on which one i should go for and why

the price of the 540i is 26grand aud but it has 230.000 kms on clock. which is alright as long as the engine is ticking nice and it has all the log books too. this is the 328i vert. which i think is individual as ive not seen this color before. its also manual and full optioned including harmans.
