| There really isn't much to do to a 318i as i had one myself. I found most people usually do an engine swap which is quite pricey and there are some turbo kits for them but i'm not quite sure how the engine would handle it.
If you were going to try and mod the 318 you wouldn't get a great deal of power out of it but i guess you could stick a pod filter on it for a bit more throttle responce, an exhaust system (it will end up sounding quite ricer because it's a 1.8, so don't get anything too loud), try getting it lowered and chucking a nice set of rims on it. I wouldn't get a turbo kit from ebay because they are just crap.
Other then that it's probally not worth the money upgrading a 318i for performance, you should try aiming for style and looks really.
Quite honostly you would be better off buying a 6 cyclinder bimmer if you wanted to get some power out of it. 325i, 328i, 320i, 325i, 330ci all put out better stock power and finding mods is easy. |
