| Ya stromung isn't that much louder than the AA. I had a friend that used to run the stromung and it sounded very good.

the AA CAIS is great. sounds awesome, easy to install and clean, and you really can tell that the shielding works just by feeling the inside of the shield as compared to the engine bay. def. get it. i really just wish i could afford to match it up with the AA gen 3 exhaust. college has really put a damper on my cars spirit.

Stromung sound good but after reviewing it its not enough. Finally i have come done to what im 99% sure about getting. i checked out a lot more places and asked people and they said that the System U is one of the best for the $. HOWEVER 550 is still alot. Anybody customize there own exhaust to make it sound like the System U? How much $$$? any downsides to customized?

I realize I'm weighing in kinda late on this one, but I have a Borla exhaust on my 1998 M3 and it sounds sweet. Not too loud but with the right amount of rumble to sound like it has the power that it actually has.

hello guys, i am new to the forum, but i saw this thread, so i just wanted to give my little quote according to my experience, like you i looked for so many sources about exhausts and cai,s, and i checked so many hours in internet, many forums, and videos. Finally i got for my M3, the UUC exhaust and afe intake, they work together unbeliable awesome, you can feel right away the gain of power, i could say it was worthy to bring them to Lima, Peru where i am from, paying in total (after shipping and customs and taxes) for the exhaust 880$ and for the intake 420$, remember If you wanna play, you have to pay!
