320i Dashlight identity

Hello. Just wondering if anyone knows what the dash light above the turn signal indicator, red circle with an underline and little lines flaring out the sides. Anyone know what this is? Please help. Thanks.

If nobody gets to you sooner, ill thubm through my bentley and see what I can see...any chances of a picture of the culprit? Your description reminds me of a T/C light, but i dont think there was such a thing in 1980...

All i have is a camera phone, i'd have to figure out how to post pics here, but it is possible, let me try in the next day or so. Also whats a t/c light?

sounds like a "low brake pad" warning light, check fluid level first, if thats ok check your pads.
