2001 330i

Hey guys i just have got my 01 330i, its all stock at the moment, i wana do few things to it, Im planning to put 19" on it, my car's exterior color is white, shall i put black with chrome lip or shall i stick with chrome, and how lower shall i drop it on front and back, and some ideas about painitng middle of the hood and roof black?? and any gud brand for angle eyes and taillights.

I like black with the polished lip for wheels
As for the headlights, umnitza (I beleive it is) I have heard makes some awesome headlights.

yeah man thx for advice im so looking forward into it, im thinking about installing just the rings on headlight assembly instead of installing the whole angle eye light assembly cuz its cheap, i dono how much to drop though man

Get a set of coilovers and you can drop or raise it as much as you want.

do u recommend any manfacture for good quality coil sets for 01 330i?

i got anotha question it might sound dumb question to you guys but im getting to know bmw, how can you tell by physically looking at it that it has sport suspension?

There are tons of good coilovers;
Performance Oriented
TC Kline
Groundcontrol
Vorshlag
Moton

These well perform awesome on the street/track but can be on the more expensive side and may need to be rebuilt after a couple of years.


Street/style Oriented
Bilstein PSS9/PSS10
KW
Tein

These are more street oriented they will not perform as good as the first group but will give you good ride quality and should be cheaper.

I am not sure if the 330 came with an optional sport suspension or if you are talking about the ZHP package. If you are talking about the ZHP package refer to this thread what kind of e46??
Otherwise just don't worry about it if you are looking at getting coilovers. Hope this helps.

how hard is it to replace rear springs, the way i looked at it i think i gota remove cv shafts/axle out on rear and then remove trailing arms andpossibility of removing control arm? do u have any instruction on how to replace rear springs.

The rears take like two seconds. There has to be a DIY somewhere online.
