| Hey I just bought a 92 325is coupe..right now its a red/burgandy color but it needs body work so after i get done with the body work i figured i'd do a color change..the car has an e46 m3 style front bumper, m3 door trim, m3 rear bumper, m3 exhaust and suspension..and i think thats all the extras.. anyway at first i thought arctic silver, then looking at the front made me think of laguna seca blue..so now im torn between the two colors and want a little advice, would the blue look good on an e36? has anyone done it? --btw just so you know i like cars that stand out(not tacky just stand out) so naturally i'm leaning twords the blue but im not sure that its the right choice..i'd really like to see it on an e36-- but just let me know what you think i should do and you could tell me why is ya want.. i'll try to get some pictures up from the dealer in a minute--but its being shipped right now so i cant take pictures myself-- thanks, -Kaleb |

| i personally would keep the car the same color,, that is a rare color and nice to begin with... if it was mine i would get the e36 M3 front bumper, ive never liked the e46 bumper on the e36,, does seem clean to me... i would do motor upgrades, suspension, brakes etc. before paint.... | Laguna Seca Blue Baby!! That's the best color EVER!!! Burgundy is an old man color forget that crap immediately. If you like burgundy get a mini-van!! Get a real red or go home!! LOL Go for an e36 M3 front bumper as well!! You should also think about Lazer blue or oriental blue. Those both look amazing and even more exotic than laguna seca.

![]() that first blue on the lotus is close to the blue on a car that i built about a year ago..I loved it and got alot of compliments on the color I am definately a fan of blue cars, I love the oriental blue but I'm not painting the car myself because I dont have all the tools i need to do so and i dont know if I want to pay for candy paint but I'll definately look into it...do you think freakse36 would mind if there was another bmw that was his color?...I dont really want to steal his uniqueness(not sure if thats a word) oh and guys im not going to lie i like the e36 front bumper but i like the e46 more so it'll most likely stay that way..but thanks for the input And as for performance, I was thinking headers, exhaust, ecu, and maybe an air intake...what do ya think?--constructive critisism is always welcome --Last edited by Kaleb : 01-21-2008 at 08:34 AM. |
